Relion 1900e Server

The Relion 1900e is based on the new Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 and v4 processor and chipset architecture. The Relion 1900e is a versatile general purpose server, well suited for enterprise or HPC workloads. RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability) features, like optional redundant power supplies, RAID options, IPMI 2.0 support and ‘KVM over IP’ functionality make this platform a good fit for mission critical workloads. With these RAS features, as well as up to eighteen cores per processor and up to 1.5TB of RAM, the system is also an excellent choice as a host platform in virtualization environments. For scale out deployments basic configuration options are available that make the R1900e a cost effective platform for server farms. In addition to all these features, HPC users will appreciate that the Relion 1900e supports RAM speeds up to 2400MHz, AVX2 (Advanced Vector Extensions) that supports accelerated data conversion between 16- and 32-bit floating point formats, as well as high memory bandwidth with four memory controllers per processors.
