Altus™ AMD® Rackmount
 Penguin Altus servers configurable from straightforward HPC compute node to
full-fledged highly available enterprise server and everything in between.
Current Penguin Altus models are based on latest AMD Opteron dual- and quad core processors,
latest NVIDIA chipset and DDR2 memory. SATA and SAS storage options are available with hot swappable drives
and optional RAID controllers and battery backup. This newest generation of Altus servers is equipped with
IPMI 2.0, enabling true lights-out management via serial over LAN, remote power control and remote system
health monitoring of your servers whether they are down the hall or on the other side of the world.

Altus models are now available with new Barcelona Quad Core CPUs. These are listed as Opteron 235x and
Opteron 835x in system configurators.
