Buying and Leasing Options
We accept Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express), pre-paid checks, and purchase orders. To pay by purchase order, new customers can download and complete the credit application. Further instructions on how to submit the application are included in the PDF.
Leasing options are also available on most orders. Your sales representative can provide you with the most up-to-date information on leasing.
Getting a Quote
Getting a quote is easy - quickly get a quote from any product page by following the link for "Sales Help". If you are already a Penguin customer, you can just provide your email address. First time customers will be asked to provide contact information so a sales representative can work up a quote that includes shipping and tax. A sales rep will contact you to finalize the terms of your quote.
Shipping Options
Penguin Computing targets shipment of most systems in 7 to 10 business days or less. However, cycle times do vary - your sales representative can give you details about current shipment lead times. Expedited orders can be processed for an additional fee, and subject to availability.
Penguin Computing ships via FedEx. Shipping rates on the website are computed per system using Fedex Express service. We offer rates for FedEx Ground (CA only), 2day, and Overnight. For multiple-system orders or pre-racked orders, we will create a customized shipping quote to help you save money. If you wish to upgrade your shipping service for a website order, use the "Get Quote" option during checkout and your sales representative can provide you with an updated quote.
Warranty and Service
Penguin Computing's hardware warranty is for 3 years - the best in the business. The standard support package which comes with all of our configure-to-order servers and workstations entitles you to phone or e-mail support over a 3 year period, during normal business hours. You can also use our online support portal to initiate or track a support case. Know that should you need to contact our tech support team, you won't get a call center - you will be talking to a knowledgeable linux engineer at our San Francisco headquarters.
