Penguin Computing, a leading provider of HPC cluster solutions, and Cluster Resources, provider of the Moab family of intelligent workload-management solutions, have expanded their relationship and extended an agreement allowing Penguin Computing to distribute Moab Cluster Suite under the brand name Scyld TaskMaster™.

The recently released version 3.0 of Scyld TaskMaster builds on the success of Moab version 5.2, providing advanced job scheduling and workload-management capabilities. Scyld TaskMaster includes the industry’s most flexible policy engine and a very intuitive graphical user interface. Scyld TaskMaster schedules jobs according to user-defined policies and allows for achieving resource utilization of up to 99% while meeting workload deadlines and other service-level requirements.
