Niveus 4200 Workstation
The Niveus 4200 is Penguin's high-end workstation based on the latest Intel processor technology. The Niveus 4200 features dual Xeon 5600 CPUs code named Westmere, high-performance second generation PCI Express expansion slots, RAID options and optional Intel Solid State Drives (SSDs) for high performance storage.

Target applications for the Niveus 4200 are demanding scientific and engineering applications, GPU software development, visualization and GPU computing. The Niveus 4200 can be configured to include up to four double wide video cards or GPU co-processors such as NVIDIA's Tesla or ATI's FireStream products, adding teraflops of parallel processing power to this Personal Supercomputer.

Niveus systems have been tested for compatibility with major commercial and free Linux distributions and are available with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SuSE Linux Enterprise Server or CentOS preinstalled. 3-year hardware warranty is included.

Coprocessor
Niveus 4200 includes built-in video with single VGA connector. This is based on Matrox G200 chip which is well supported by Linux. Built-in video is adequate for graphical Linux console but for 3D visualization applications Quadro FX card is recommended.
