Penguin Relion 2712 combines general-purpose x86 server capabilities with storage density similar to dedicated disk enclosures. This open and flexible platform can be deployed individually for file-, database- or email server roles or as a building block for larger distributed storage solutions. Since the Relion 2712 is open x86/Linux server platform, storage functionality can be defined and customized through available open source and commercial software stacks.
