Penguin Altus 2704 is sized to support the most demanding HPC and enterprise computing workloads. Altus 2704 is a quad socket AMD Opteron platform with support for new Opteron 8400 series "Istanbul" CPUs with 6 cores each - that's up to 24 computing engines in one Altus 2704! In order to keep all those engines running in all situations Altus 2704 comes with redundant power supplies and remote hardware health monitoring standard.
Tested and proven Linux compatibility comes standard with all Penguin servers and 3-year hardware warranty is always included.
